Ghosting requires a costume
Trolling isn’t something I’ll try
YouTube, Tik Tok
Facebook, round the clock
Telegram, Instagram,
Snap Chat and WhatsApp
I’m just an analog girl in a digital world
Scrolling the endless parade
I’d rather be outside and breathing fresh air
And taking a nap in the shade
I never read on a Kindle
I like a book in my hand
When I want to Zoom, I go running
And hope that you understand
Android, iPhone
Tablets in the zone
iWatch you and
You are not alone
I’m just an analog girl in a digital world
Being who I actually am
Instead of some AI Avatar
Or a virtual hologram
A letter is better than email
A phone call is better than text
Technology lives in the shadows
And I shudder to think of what’s next
Yahoo, Google
Bing and Duck Duck Go
